Since our founding in the year 2002 by renowned nutritionist Liat Solomon, the Down to Earth Company (DTE) has grown from one home-style kitchen to six different restaurants and marketplaces serving gourmet vegetarian foods. Our immensely popular locations sit in some of southern Bali's busiest and most dense population centers, including Ubud, Seminyak, and Sanur.
In lively and tastefully-designed dining rooms we welcome and cater to everyone from curious tourists to expatriate westerners who call Indonesia home.Our restaurants operate according to strict Western standards of food preparation, handling, and preservation. We serve only the finest vegan and vegetarian meals, drinks, and snacks (with the exception of ethically-sourced cow's milk, which is available upon request).
Following years of unparalleled success we recently launched Paradiso, a vegan cinema and events-hosting space in Ubud, in Bali's volcanic lowlands. Central to DTE's competitive edge is our exclusive right to the importation of organic products into the Republic of Indonesia.
