As a certified diver, diving in the waters of Bali is a must do! Bali is located in the Coral Triangle Region, also called the Amazon of the Seas. This should say enough to get your imagination going in this underwater wonderland for scuba diving in Bali. Nusa Penida is an island located east of Sanur that can be reached in 45 minutes by boat. The island offers rich & healthy corals and abundance of fish. Usually there is a lot of current, which makes it a perfect place to practice your current-diving skills. From July to October there is a good chance you will encounter the Mola Mola or Giant Moonfish at Crystal Bay, as this is one of the only places in the world to see this impressive fish! Crystal Bay: Crystal Bay is one of the most famous diving sites in Bali. It is one of the only places in the world where you can see Mola Mola (Giant Moonfish) from July to October. Pelagic come from the deep to be cleaned by gilt fish and angelfish that are waiting in the deep. The water is very clear, hence the name of the bay. Besides the mola-mola season, diving is excellent all year round because the site is very rich in beautiful corals and reef fish like different clownfish, oriental gatrins, anthas, triggerfish angelfish, cochet fish and many more.Manta point: Manta Point is located in the South of Nusa Penida. This diving site is located in a small bay near the cliff where ray fish are cleaned. You can see them almost throughout the year because the site is rich in plankton. Waiting their turn, they turn around divers playing with their bubbles. Our guides counted about 15 of them.
